This was recorded by my lovely wife Sarah whilst on holiday in Pembrokeshire with Sarah’s family on 18th Jan 2020. It was before the lockdown happened…But it looks like we were trapped inside and i was finding a way to entertain Sarah’s dad and brother Marshall, lol!
I also had no idea Sarah was recording this…But i hope it can shine into your homes and bring a little smile. 😀
Hey steve, can I profile you for GodReports.com? You are the blind photographer, right?
Lovely!
Thank you! 😀
Sweet!
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed! 😀
still smiling … this was a little get-away for me … THANK YOU… you rock on the guitar, dude!
Yay Heidi is here! Stupendous to hear that it helped you get away for a while…I know it’s short but it makes us smile every time…And that view is lovely too! 😀
Thanks for the compliment, i was playing one of my faves happy ragtime tunes and glad i managed not to mess it up, lol! 🎶
Everyone looks so relaxed as you entertain them with your guitar. 🙂
That holiday cottage looks great and it’s in a beautiful spot. I love Wales.
Thanks so much Lesley! Yes there were only 4 houses in a row joined together and we had one, it’s a special view! Really enjoyed it over there. 😀
Have you had many holidays over in Wales? Or even lived there?
I’ve never lived there, but I’ve had holidays in Tenby and Llandudno. Gorgeous places! I’ve looked online at other beautiful parts of Wales that I’d love to visit. Their coastline is fabulous.
Thanks Sarah. Breathtaking view.
Thanks Donna! Yes i thanks Sarah lots for creating this movie of me playing a short section of one of my fave songs!
We stayed there for 4 days and it was beautiful! 😀
Thanks so much for sharing. Still waiting for my playlist, I hope you are working on it 🙂 Hey can we add, You are My Sunshine to the list? My dad used to sing that song to me. I think it would be beautiful as God singing it to us. That we are his sunshine, we make Him happy when skies are gray. anyways, hope I get the playlist, so that it will bless us all and chase the blues away.
Hey Donna! Your dad sounded like a lovely special guy…What a lovely song. 😀 As i’m defo not a singer, i bet he sang it lovely! 😀
My dad was awesome. For having lost it all, he recuperated quite well. He still wasn’t 100%, probably not even 80%. He had a terrible accident in his 18 wheeler. His rig toppled 30 feet. He went from being a big strong man, to being in a coma and wearing depends. They had to put a metal plate in his head. But he got somewhat better. He was just more childlike, I suppose is a good description. He loved the Lord though. He had so many at his funeral that came to me and told me how good of a man my dad was. He didn’t have much when he passed, but he was rich in love. And now he is in our Savior’s arms. Thanks for listening. 🙂 Have a great day and God bless!
Awww i’m so sorry to hear this. He really does sound amazing and how lovely and comforting it is to know he is safe in our saviours arms! 😀
My Grandad(grandad Bruce as i call him) also was a truck driver…And i always wanted to be like him. He took me out as a kid for a whole day once, just me and him and the huge truck…I still talk about that day with Sarah!😀
Thank you so much for sharing a little about him, he sounds like a remarkable man. God blesss you. 🙏🏻
Thanks. I don’t know why I felt compelled to share about him, but there you go LOL. He was a good man. Thank you.
Your granddad Bruce sounds pretty cool too. Oh wow, how exciting for a boy to ‘get to’ ride on the big truck. I imagine you were ‘tickled to death’, to be able to ride with him. It’s the little things that matter. So happy for you to have great memories. 🙂
Hi, well i’m glad you shared, thank you.
Yes the memories are fantastic as i remember i couldn’t even reach the door handle as i was so young. He had to lift me right up for me to press the button on the door, then for me to climb the few steps into the cab. 😀
Awww
