Hi friends! 

Waking up and hearing the rain lashing the windows, it was really hard to get up for the 21st day on the trot without proper rest.

“GET UP AND GET READY” screamed my inner drill sargent to the inner lazy me who just wanted to go back to sleep! My legs felt like concrete and i didn’t seem to have any energy at all, and knowing it was going to be raining the whole walk didn’t help!

Eventually i rustled (had all my waterproofs on) and slowly drag my concrete legs out…

  1. At least you won’t melt in the rain, especially with waterproof gear on. Warm rains can sometimes be fun to walk in. I’m assuming it was a cold rain since you put on waterproof gear.

    • Hi, it certainly wasn’t liquid sunshine, lol! It was pretty cold but the waterproofs i have are really thin…But they still heat me up too much! I didn’t mean the heavy duty hard core waterproofs, i don’t think i could’ve walked anywhere with those on, lol! 🤣
