Hi FitBlitz family! Well there is 1 good thing about going out in the intense heat and dripping with sweat for the past 2 days…The trail was empty!! I couldn’t believe it as it was perfect for me not to have cyclists, runners and ferocious dogs coming at me all of the time. 🤣

This week (after getting back from an amazing trip to the Marriott Breadsall Priory Hotel & Country Club) i’d decided to switch up my walking again…I’ve pulled out my First Tactical 60+ litre (with all the pouches) backpack, and it feels like wearing power armour (from Fallout 4 PS Game) as it wraps around you. The wide hip belt itself has 4 pouches on including 2 water bottle pouches…I’m so grateful for these especially in this incredible heat! 💪🏼 Sorry i could go on for ever talking about just how many pouches, pockets and compartments it…

Walking in the heat is indeed a challenge; remembering to stay hydrated is another one. Way to persevere, my friend. You remind me of what someone once said: “You can’t make it so hard to cause me to complain!”
Yay…I love that quote, i’ve never heard that one before but i’m going to keep saying it now, lol! 🤣
I’m sure Sarah might have something to say about complaining, lol…But i don’t usually complain, i always say “i don’t want to go” before a walk as i’m getting ready, but i know as soon as i’m out of the door i have a mission to complete and there is no one around to help me, so i have to get it done!! 💪🏼 😀
Staying hydrated is much easier with my huge heavy backpack than my usual light walking pack. Sounds funny to say but i have 1.5 litres of water on my hip belt and super easy to grab…Unlike my light backpack which also holds 2 bottles but i have to reach right around the back to struggle to reach them!. Oh and it burns more calories to carry the extra weight too, so more food, lol! 🤣
