Music has always been an important part of my life, whether playing guitar in church, writing songs inspired by my Christian faith and personal experiences, or creating instrumental music to accompany quiet moments, prayer, walking and reflection. I’m Steve Rebus, a blind guitarist, drummer and songwriter. Throughout 2026, I’ve been releasing a growing collection of original music, bringing together personal lyrics, guitar-driven sounds, worship influences and atmospheric instrumentals.

Using Suno to help bring my musical ideas to life, I create songs that begin with something personal: an idea, a feeling, a story or an experience that matters to me. I’m also working on turning the holidays and adventures I’ve written about on the Blind Sightseers adventures into songs, capturing the places we’ve visited, the experiences we’ve shared and the memories we’ve made along the way.

Some songs are rooted firmly in my Christian faith. Others explore relationships, memories, travel, personal experiences and the things that make life meaningful. My instrumental music offers something different: space to breathe, reflect, pray or simply enjoy the sound. Above all, I want my music to be personal, honest and meaningful, whether it’s sharing my faith, telling a story or bringing a special memory to life through music.

Ensconced in Light (2026)

Ensconced in Light is my collection of ten instrumental tracks, released on 1 October 2026. Created for quiet moments, walking, prayer, reflection and everyday life, the album brings together acoustic guitar, clean electric guitar, piano, concert flute and atmospheric soundscapes.

Whether I’m out walking with VoiceVista, spending time in prayer, working at my computer or simply taking a moment to pause, I wanted to create music that could accompany everyday life without demanding all your attention. It’s music to sit back and enjoy, or to have alongside whatever you’re doing.
