This sentiment was taught to me early on by my Salvation Army grandmother back in the day when all the shops were closed on Sundays. She would even lay down her precious knitting for this day but would scold me for asking questions like why do we still have to do the dishes? lol
As long as we keep the other days holy, too – I’m in total agreement! ;0)
