Sheep need a shepherd to lead them to green pastures. Without his/her assistance, these animals will stay in the same area and eat the grass down to the roots. In a short period of time, a lush, green pasture becomes a dust bowl.

Perhaps this is why Psalm 23 says, “He makes me lie down in green pastureS.”

See the plural?

This leads to the question:

Where do you, as one of God’s “sheep,” feed?

Do you only eat in one pasture…the one in your church?

Or do you “graze” in other locations as well?

I am not suggesting “church hopping,” but if we are to receive a balanced diet, we need to be fed in more than one location…from more than one source.

      Wow, thanks so much, you (your blog) is so inspiring, i love it!
      Unfortunately here in the UK we don’t celebrate thanksgiving, i think more people should count their blessings and give thanks more, but that’s my own opinion! 🙂

        Wow… I didn’t even think about that, you being in the UK and no holiday in this regard. But yes, I did enjoy it. I love these kind of holidays. Gives us a moment to stop and just appreciate what we have. It was very blessed. 🙂
