Be the light

Matthew 5:14-16 NLT

¹⁴“You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. ¹⁵No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. ¹⁶In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.

Another fantastic reason to try and do our best. So that everyone will praise our heavenly Father. We are to represent Christ here on this earth. They will know we are Christians by our love. Huge love, off the wall, even, love for others. We are going to be shining for Christ! Let us draw near to Him so we know what to say and do. We will be guided by the Lord.
