The stew pond in the freezing frost on my trail marathon route!

Hi all. After checking the weather app yesterday it said there was a cold snap moving in until Sundayโ€ฆIt wasnโ€™t joking, lol! ๐Ÿคฃ My lovely wife Sarah had made me another one of her fresh coffees and a slice of wholemeal toast with Grenade chocolate spread to fuel me on my journeyโ€ฆMmmmmm! ๐Ÿ˜‹ I knew i had 11 miles (4 laps of my trail marathon route) to complete today and i really didnโ€™t want to go outโ€ฆBut i did and i nailed it and feel much better now iโ€™ve done it! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ ๐Ÿ˜€

I was out for a little over 3 hours and didnโ€™t have any dramas this time, only the amazingly bright sun again which melted my brains (drained so much of my mental strength just trying to figure out where i was going). Looking forwards toโ€ฆ

You are far braver and more adventurous than I am! This sounds unbelievably painful. But kudos for staying the course and finishing your run! Perseverance is an amazing character quality!

Wow, thank you so much! Although iโ€™m not sure iโ€™m that brave as i didnโ€™t really want to go out there. But after about 5 miles when iโ€™d warmed up a bit, i started to feel much betterโ€ฆAlthough iโ€™m not looking forwards to the same next week, i just hope itโ€™s warmer, lol! ๐Ÿ˜€

Steve, great job! Going out in the cold, to complete your goal was good. Keep up your consistency!
