Hi Friends!!
Wow i thought my βUltra Step Challengeβ during advent 2020 for Blood Pressure UK was gruelling, and that was only 24 days, lol! π¨ Iβm now 2 years older and this current challenge is double the milageβ¦But after a wayward week in the slough of despond, iβm happy to be awarded the 600,000 step badge (thatβs 300 miles).
If i ever mention iβm doing another endurance charity challenge in the future, can you tell me NO, lol! π

Congratulations, Steve, for not giving up despite how you felt. Kudos to your lovely wife, Sarah, who encourages you!
Hi, I was looking back through some old comments and found your encouragement from when I reached 600,000 steps during the Diabetes UK challenge. π
Those words about not giving up really mean even more looking back now. At the time, those miles felt tough, but God used that challenge to teach me perseverance, patience, and the importance of taking things one step at a time.
Since then, the journey has continued with many more walking challenges, including completing my 50K ultra trail marathon earlier this year. Iβm now recovering from a knee injury, but once again Iβm seeing how important it is not to give up. Iβm back walking on the trails again and thankful for every step.
Thank you for your encouragement back then and for celebrating that milestone with me. God has been faithful through every challenge, and Iβm grateful for how He uses people to encourage us along the way. π
Steve, thank you for looking ack and seeing how encouragement meant so much. You are still here, never quitting. Meeting new challenges, one step at a time. It is encourages me that a comment made on line from Alaska in the United States, years ago, still makes a difference. Grateful to God, there is no distance to encouragement.
May the Lord continue to bless and keep you, protect you. May his face shine upon you and hive you peace. ππΆβ₯οΈ
Thank you so much for your beautiful blessing. It really touched my heart. π
I love what you said: “There is no distance to encouragement.” What a wonderful truth. The Lord can take a few words typed from Alaska and use them years later to strengthen someone thousands of miles away in England. Only God can weave those kinds of connections together.
Thank you for being willing to encourage others in Jesus’ name. Your kindness has borne fruit far beyond the day you first wrote that comment. May the Lord richly bless you too, continue to use you as an encouragement to many, and fill you with His peace and joy as you walk with Him.
Grace and peace, my friend. ππ
My pleasure! It is so important to speak blessings. I receive your blessing. We never know how far a little encouragement can take another person. Happy one step at a time and doing so much more than you ever imagined, friend Steve! May God take you and Sarah further than you can imagine. π£π£ππ
