Wayfaring Wednesday: iWalk 5.99 miles👨🏻‍🦯

Today’s pond photo…

Hi Fitblitzers.

Yay…I’ve completed 2 laps (5.99 miles) and I survived without any dramas! That’s my maximum laps I had to smash in July, as it will be 3 laps in August and 4 laps in September and on and on…But until the 3 laps I’ll keep pounding the trail to keep getting stronger, more stamina and make it feel easier and not keep collapsing when I arrive home, lol! 🤣

As I walked past the pond twice this morning, I thought I’d get some different shots for you. So I walked down the side of the pond a little, and captured a few photos. 😀

Your quote by Hippocrates is so spot on. Getting outside to see or experience the surroundings created by the hand of God for our pleasure is calming and encouraging. And you’re crushing this training! I appreciate your resilience and perseverance. You inspire others to keep on keeping on.

Hey Dayle! So glad you liked the quote, it’s true isn’t it…When I’m out on the trail I just feel amazing inside and out surrounded by His beauty! 😀

If my posts and photos can inspire just one person, it’s worth it! I certainly need the inspiration to keep my training going. It’s going well at the moment, and even thought I’ve walked 2 laps today it’s about to get much harder. I’m waiting for muscle memory or something to kick in but it doesn’t seem to be working, lol! 🤣

You’ve got this, my friend. You are persistent and dependable when you make a decision.

Awww thanks so much Dayle! Well I’ve certainly made a challenge, lol. But I’m focused and have plenty of goals to smash as I lose this 50 pounds, it’s like wearing a thick winter duvet/quilt all the time, no wonder I’m not good in the heat! 😨
