I’ve just created ‘Christine’s Calm Meadow Rise‘ to honour the incredible support of Christine Bailey. Christine has been right behind me through seven fundraisers, and her generosity, encouragement, and love have lifted me every step of the way. This marker is a peaceful reminder that no matter how tough the challenge, her calm strength keeps me rising forward.

what’s a ‘donation motivation marker?

Imagine this…Every time I walk around my 2.6 mile lap (always using the Soundscape audio navigation app for the blind) in the nature reserve, I hear your name being called out in my ear. It’s like you’re walking right there with me, step for step, mile for mile. When I’m tired, when the legs start to ache (not only on my months of training), but when the 50km ultra walk feels like it’s never going to end…Your name becomes the motivation marker that keeps me pushing forward. 💪🏼

It’s not just about raising money…It’s about building a trail full of encouragement. Each beacon becomes a voice of support, a reminder that I’m not alone out there. With every lap, I’ll be surrounded by FitBlitzers who believed in me enough to invest in this challenge. 🧡
