Balloon flight landed

A few years ago for Sarah’s birthday present I booked a balloon flight as she has always wanted to go up in one. There were a lot of cancellations last minute due to poor weather but finally one weekend we got to go. The weather as you can see was not very clear, but it was amazing!

Unfortunately I only had my compact camera with me 😦Camera used ~ Samsung WB550

  1. How inspiring! Have always wanted to to this and it WILL be done! Lovely images, esp the B&W vignette w/ the balloon in center.

  2. Wow!!! Really amazing! I wouldn’t have know it was from a smaller camera! Haha! You are so talented! William and I have been trying to ride a hot air balloon for years! Lol

    • Its such an amazing experience, i hope you get to ride in one soon. My trusty little Samsung wide angle compact is pretty good although the software on it really lags., but its much lighter than my big Nikon and several lenses so i will stop complaining! lol

      • Nice! What camera do you prefer using? I only have my Canon, have you ever used a Canon before?

        • My favourite is my big Nikon D2Xs which just feels so nice to hold and its so fast and i trust it. I have a Canon Powershot SX 40 Hs which is a bridge camera, that is really light. I havn’t used a Canon DSLR before so that could be my next one when i need to update my Nikon! πŸ˜€ After seeing your photos of what a Canon is capable of then i will definitely check them out!

  3. Great photos! So glad that Sarah got her hot air balloon ride.

  4. Great photos. Thank you for sharing.

  5. I would love to do this! Yes, the tops of the trees do look like broccoli! Your pictures are amazing!

  6. Very nice pictures! I’ve always wanted to go up in a balloon, but there isn’t much opportunity here. What fun!

    • Yeah it was a great day and such an amazing feeling to be floating, it was so calm and peaceful up there. thanks for checking out and liking my photos! God bless you. πŸ˜€

  7. Great pics. Still love that broccoli!!
