Becoming Perfect

Question Signs

On the journey that we are on, being transformed back into the image of God, there is another aspect that we can mention: In the first place, mankind ran away from God and away from relationship with Him; away from good behaviour and away from stable life. Now we are in a place where no one really trusts anyone and it can be pretty hard to know what to do; even when you are in a relationship with the Maker of the universe.

We were free, in the beginning, to leave God and we are free now to return to Him. Freewill was given to us in the start and we still have it now; we can do whatever we want!

That is an amazing and rather serious aspect to this world. It is ours to manage, ours to explore, ours to repair and ours to cover with loving, honestโ€ฆ

About Ben

Someone trying to understand and live relationship with God within the context and fabric of normal everyday life. Most people observe the deep need for change in our world; change that would mean seemingly countless yet avoidable difficulties and tragedies might be avoided. Those observations reflect the reality of our everyday world and our innate awareness of the possibility of something better. We live in the wonderful yet profoundly troubled present; we grasp for the potential that God had placed before us. I would like to communicate, in the most helpful way possible, what little I might be able to understand about this story through my own journey with God.

I commented on this on Ben’s Dynamic Force site:

Ben I love this, but then as I told someone else on this subject, I am biased! I have based my whole ministry (and life) on this and especially on the Scripture you quoted in 1John 4:16. Chapter 4 is probably my favorite chapter in the whole Bible!
I love also what you stated when you said, โ€œWe should do our best to exhibit them whether or not we feel like it at the time.โ€ That is the KEY! James said it when he wrote, โ€œnot just in words but in deed and truth!โ€ Feeling has nothing to do with True Godly Love. Did Jesus FEEL like dying on the Cross? We wouldnโ€™t have the example of Gethsemanee in the garden, if He did feel like it! But He went to that wooden cross anyway, because of LOVE for His Creation!
One word of encouragement because I know we ALL at one time or another wonder if we are hearing from the Holy Spirit. That is human nature, a battle we fight to overcome everyday. Let me tell you this, just this morning (couldnโ€™t sleep so was reading blogs); you are about the 3rd article I have read on this exact same subject!! When the Holy Spirit desires to get His Word out, He does it by those willing vessels that follow His leading within their hearts!
This day my dear Brother, He must truly want those following these particular blogs to Hear (read) this important Word. Remember, in closing, the importance of this subject is actually of the greatest as Jesus reiterated in Matthew 22:37-40, when He spoke of the two GREATEST commandments!!
God bless you my brother, very, very abundantly!! Take heart, stay strong, Love large!
