My Thoughts πΒ
Yipppeee my 1st passport arrived in the post today!!! π
It may be a shock to some of you that i’m 38 and never had a passport, but after my interview on Saturday morning at the passport office in Victoria, London to prove face to face that I am me, it finally arrived today.
So, I was wondering if all of you lovely friends could suggest some great places to see and experience?! I’ll finally be able to post some photos from places other than Norfolk! lol.
Me, Sarah, Ben (The Dynamic Force) and Rosie always talk (jokingly but seriously) about a “WordPress World Tour” where we would travel around and maybe meet some of the amazing people who we share our everyday journeys with on here! Is this a crazy dream?! π
That’s a great idea! What an adventurous thought π congrats on the passport!
Yeah i’m not sure if i’ll meet anyone but its an exciting idea! lol. π
Definitely not a crazy dream! I have met a few online friends, and it has been such a blessing!
Congrats on the Passports! I hope to own one someday myself. π And great idea for the WP tour! I had thought about a sort of convention for fellow WordPressors to meet. Looking forward to seeing some pics!
Happy Passport Receipt Day! I would definitely recommend Israel! Going to the places talked about in the Bible changes how you perceive the stories. To be in Jerusalem, at the Mount of Olives, the Jordan River, the Galilee, these are experiences you should not miss.! Safety is not the issue most would think. Everywhere we went there were armed IDF soldiers. We were present during a Muslim protest, too. I think there were more soldiers than protesters!
Definitely Israel!

Well Steve, congrats on your first-ever passport and if you all decide to do that ‘WordPress World Tour’ you are very welcome to start off by visiting me and my family here in beautiful Somerset, lol π
Hi Sherri, thanks so much for this kind invitation, it would be lovely to come and see you all. π
Yay! go all over Italy your photos will be gorgeous and Ghana. Because that is where I am from and have yet to go!
The WPWT sounds like an amazing adventure – and whilst your meeting bloggers they can blog about you too and it will be like live action wordpress challenge.
Thanks for ‘Ghana’ i will put a flag on the map! I hope you get to see it one day too! π
I like the sound of the ‘Live Action WordPress Challenge’ sounds amazing! π
You should go to Paris if you get a chance, it’s so beautiful, especially now that the weather is so nice! π
Spooky, i was just looking at the Eurostar and Paris hotels this afternoon!! π
Thanks so much for recommending Paris for me!
Congratulations!! A WordPress tour sounds like a great idea. I am in New York City so if you are ever here let me know in advance! Meantime make big dreams.
Wow, Ellen that would be amazing to meet up with you and your husband! I’ill put a digital flag on New York for our WP Tour! π
USA!
Yay!! I think that will be 1st on the WP Tour! Thanks so much! π
π
Congrats Steve and that is a great dream to have. And just like Laurie I don’t have a passport either. Guess it’s because I don’t like travelling far from home, but I am sure you will have a wonderful time meeting some of the bloggers. π
Thanks! It would be an amazing experience to meet some of the bloggers on here.
Will have to wait to see who God puts in our way! π
How fun! Congratulations, Steve. Can’t wait to hear where you decide to go. π I’ve been off the mainland USA only to go to Hawaii…
When’s your trip?
Hey Lori! Not planned any trips yet, but maybe we’ll plan a short break somewhere near to see if i can handle the hot sun. Then i’d like to travel “in the footsteps of Jesus” our church do this tour every year and i’d love to experience it!
Wow, Hawaii, Sarah and i would love to go there, it looks stunning.
Hope your well Lori and having a good week?!

My passport is nearly 30 years old (well, I did update it once) and I’ve never gotten a stamp in it yet! May yours be filled soon!
Your WorldPress Tour sounds fantastic! I have some WP friends I’d like to visit -I think you’re really on to something here!!
Its going to be a big adventure wherever we go due to my really poor sight, but it will also be exciting!
I’ve always thought about the WP World Tour since i started iChristian less than a year ago. Meeting the sisters and brothers who inspire, encourage & bless me each day would be amazing! π
Beautiful Dream π
Thanks so much! π
Steve, that is awesome! I remember having to get pages added to my passport when we lived in the Middle East and it was a very cool feeling. Wonderful to have been blessed to travel to so many wonderful places. I look forward to hearing about your adventures!,
Wow, thats a lot of travelling.God has really used your gifts all around the world! God bless. π
Awesome!
Make a list of the places that you’d like to visit (within your budget). From there – if you have a hard time choosing – make it a draw of the hat.
Happy travels π
Thanks for this great advise! π
Woo Hoo!!!! Congrats~
