We hurt people by being too busy. Too busy to notice their needs. Too busy to drop that note of comfort or encouragement or assurance of love. Too busy to listen when someone needs to talk. Too busy to care!

Yes, I am too busy, I confess it right now! And the fact that my quiet time with the LORD has been compromised is the saddest part. May He provide me the wisdom to stop and be there for someone else!

Sometimes it’s not our physical lifes that are so busy, it’s our mental ones. I know that for me today my mind is occupied with some real concerns. It will take serious concentration to even notice anyone else’s struggles. But it’s during our own dark times, when we’re the ones feelng ignored, that we can resolve to not to treat others the same way when our dark clouds move over them.
So true Rebecca! The mind is an amazing place that can easily distract you.

A great message. And too busy to meditate and talk to God. The most important things take back seat to our trivial busyness far too often. And what are we so busy doing? Wordly things of lower consciousness.

Busyness is the temptation of the enemy – anything that draws our attention away from the Lord. May we all slow down and focus on saying “no” to some things so we can say “yes” to the things the Lord wants us to do.
