God’s love for us is truly something hard for us to comprehend. His love for us is like no other love we have or ever will experience. We have a hard time understanding His love for us because we don’t love the way He loves.

When it comes to love, our human ability to love is finite, limited and quite frankly pretty fickle and we have a tendency to view God’s love like our own love. But they are vastly different. Our love is based on our feelings but God’s love is based on His nature. His very nature is love.

1 John 4:8

Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

He loved us even before we were born and we were created in His image. God doesn’t wait for us to be be “good enough” for Him to love us; He loves us…
