Sunday was especially blessed for me, as not only did i get to drum with the worship team, but i was asked to play a reflective song on guitar with my lovely wife Sarah on flute & Sara (the voice) singing. I chose the song “In Your Hands” by Unspoken (see video below) and shared a little about worry, and how we need to trustGod and have more confidence in this promise to let his peace, the peace that’s beyond all understanding to guard our hearts and minds, as we offer everything (not some things) in prayer.
After the service a group of us went down to the coast at Littlehampton and had a great day walking along the beach after eating chips then doughnuts! It was fantastic spending time with sisters & brothers and i felt truly blessed! 🙂

In Your Hands Lyrics
The dawn is breaking and I can hear Your whisper in the breeze The world is waking and I am here to meet You on my knees When I’m with You my soul finds rest Cause I can leave it in Your hands
The day keeps coming pulling me a different million ways I’m always running but never seem to catch the things I chase When I’m with You my soul finds rest Cause I can leave it in Your hands
(Chorus) Every sorrow, I leave it in Your hands Every sickness, I leave it in Your hands All my failures, I leave them in Your hands Amen, I leave it in Your hands
So I am laying the weight of all these burdens at Your feet No more waiting, cause You’ve already won my victories In Jesus my soul finds rest Cause I can leave it in Your hands
(Chorus 2) Every promise, I leave it in Your hands Every healing, I leave it in Your hands And my future, I leave it in Your hands Amen, I can leave it in Your hands
(Bridge ) It’s Your hands that form the mountains Your hands set boundaries for the seas And in Your hands You hold tomorrow The same hands that took the nails for me
(Chorus 1)
(Chorus 2)
Wonderful!
Thanks RoSy! 🙂
great pic’s of you and yours!! you all looked so very happy!!! 🙂
Thanks so much. We had a fun time as we love being by the sea, and Sarahs favourite food is doughnuts! 🙂
Glorious! Thank you for sharing this, Steve. Especially love the photo of you and your Sarah. And thank you for the song. Wow. A soothing balm, just like the ocean. 🙂
Thanks Susan! So pleased you enjoyed the post. We had a lovely time as we both love the beach walks and the fact that we are not always looking out for obstacles to trip over, the open space is great! Oh and Chips then doughnuts are just lovely!
Blessed you liked the song too. It’s been on my heart for a few months now and it was great that i got to share it! God bless you. 🙂
Such a blessing Brother Steve and Sister Sara and gang! Greetings, Grace and peace to you in our Precious Savior Yeshua the Messiah…
Awww thanks Lisa! God bless you. 🙂
Thanks for sharing, Steve. This song is a reminder to me that I can leave it all in the capable hands of the Lord.
Amen! It’s so easy to start to fall away from trusting in Him to do His will, and losing the peace He promises.
This song helps me a lot! 🙂
Lovely! Leave it in your hands! Littlehampton! Ooh-la-la!! The memories of the mega uppy-downy tide, the gravel boat, and happy days! Thank you.
Thanks for this fantastic comment! 😀
We lived up the road in Yapton for two happy years!!
Great song! 😀
What a wonderful day out with your dear brothers and sisters and Steve, this song moved me greatly, truly beautiful. Thank you my friend for blessing me today with its message which I needed to hear so much today…
Awwww thanks Sherri! So pleased the song is a blessing to you too! It’s really helped me since i started learning it a few months ago, and i’m always singing it when i need to focus on leaving everything in his hands.
We had a lovely spontanious trip down to Littlehampton, where we had lots of fun, and Sarah got to try out the doughnuts, her favourite! She’s still trying to find doughnuts that are equal or better than the amazing ones on Hunstanton sea front! It’s a tough job! 😀
Hope you (& family) are well and had a lovely bank holiday?!
Sounds wonderful! Bring on those doughnuts, haha!! Sometimes those spontaneous times are the best of all 🙂 We had a lovely time thanks, chilling and then with my brother’s family in Dorset for my nephew’s birthday. But these long weekends always throw me and now I’m a day behind… !! Have a great week my friend, bless you 🙂
Sounds like a fun, but exhausting weekend! 🙂
Hope you catch up on things after missing a day.
