✞ Music “Rescue The Perishing” by Billy & Cindy Foote

Rescue the perishing, care for the dying,
Snatch them in pity from sin and the grave;
Weep o’er the erring one, lift up the fallen,
Tell them of Jesus, the mighty to save.

Refrain:
Rescue the perishing, care for the dying,
Jesus is merciful, Jesus will save.

Though they are slighting Him, still He is waiting,
Waiting the penitent child to receive;
Plead with them earnestly, plead with them gently;
He will forgive if they only believe.

Down in the human heart, crushed by the tempter,
Feelings lie buried that grace can restore;
Touched by a loving heart, wakened by kindness,
Chords that were broken will vibrate once more.

Rescue the perishing, duty demands it;
Strength for thy labor the Lord will provide;
Back to the narrow way patiently win them;
Tell the poor wand’rer a Savior has died.

  1. It’s always great to hear a fresh version of an old standard (as long as it’s done well, of course). Thanks for sharing.

  2. Oh Steve it is so great to hear from you again! I love all my new followers but there is also a drawback to this increase. Sometimes I lose touch with those who mean so much to me! (I’, sure you feel the same) I trust your wife is remaining healthy and you are continuing with your endeavors such as travel, photography, music and such? I praise God you have remained in my internet life, thank you so much. Blessings,

Any thoughts? I'd love to hear from you!
