Give thanks to the Lord by Robin Mark

Hi all! Wow it seems like ages since i’ve connected with you guys on here. I’ve been having problems with WordPress on my ancient mac, so i’m trying to find ways of posting using my iPhone with the screenreader…Not easy!! 🤣

This is my first attempt to post using the WordPress app…So what better way to post than a fantastic praise song! Me and Sarah are loving this song and are playing along to it all the time. As you may know Sarah plays the flute and a whole variety of woodwind instruments so this song is fantastic and i love listening to her! Also i play the drums and the acoustic guitar to this song (not at the same time, lol) So please give it a listen and sing praise to our Lord with us!! 🙏 😀

I hope all of you guys are doing well too? I can’t wait to get things sorted out with this app so i can connect with you all again…Miss you lots and God bless! 😀

🙏 Hope: My Testimony By Steve

Hi all, after reading and updating “My Testimony” this morning…I realised i hadn’t shared it for years on here! I know lots of you have read it and left me some proper humbling comments that have just left me in tears(including this morning after i went through a lot of them again).

If someone like me can be transformed by the reality and power of the Gospel, i know i need to share and make as many people aware of this amazing news of hope…As Jesus is the  Way, the Truth and the Life and no-one gets to  the Father but by Him. He’s the forgiver of Sins, breaker of chains, and the only Salvation! 🙏 😀

With all of the personal stories, news reports of suicide and “Blue Monday” coming up next week…I just wanted to remind people that Jesus has the “Good News”. I know this as it has happened to me and i want to share it with everyone! 😀

🐾 Pawing Away The COVID-19 Lockdown Blues With “Bruce THE Boxer” Day 25 – “Rest Again”

DSC06213

Welcome back to your daily lockdown drill brought to you by Bruce…your fave Boxercise instructor!

Wow yet another week in lockdown has passed already…Time flies when your boxercised!

It’s time to rest yet again, and we can spend this time pampering, sleeping, eating, playing and most of all posing for a good portrait…Very important and it keeps the treats rolling in from the humans who now have some nice photos of their stupendous furry angel! 😀

Also let’s think once again about rest and sleep. It’s vitally important to take a day of rest to give your body a chance to heal, it helps to de-stress, and also helps our minds focus…On FOOD, lol! 🍔

Fun Quote…“A well trained dog will make no attempt to share your lunch. He will just make you feel so guilty that you cannot enjoy it.”

🎶 Remember our happy singalong…”Every snack you make, every meal you bake, every bite you take, chocolate or cake, I’ll be watching you.”

Welcome back to your daily lockdown drill brought to you by Bruce…your fave Boxercise instructor!

Attention!! Today’s Drill…“Pawly”

I wanted to paws and take a little time to talk about accidents, or if you are pushing too hard on your drills…

If you have been to the vets(no idea why they are called this, they haven’t spent anytime in combat) and they have forced you into the “Helmet Of Shame”…DO NOT be cast down, but keep your chops held high!

There are other drills and exercises we can do e.g…

Dancing, Yay! Like yesterdays drill “Bust A Move” don’t be afraid to dance through the storms of life!! 😀

My Immense and Daunting Challenge

Hi all. As most of you know, i play acoustic guitar alongside my lovely flutist Wife Sarah in church…But the time has come for me to meet my Nemesis!

My guitar teacher “Harry(best guitarist ever)” has just started me learning the song i’ve been building up to over the last few years. It’s called “Clap” by Steve Howe(see video below). This is a huge challenge for anyone…But as you know i’m registered blind and can’t see my fingers or the frets etc so itreally is “My Immense and Daunting Challenge”.

I would like to write a follow up post around 2025 and i hope to be able to play at least a few bars of it, lol. 😀

Just wanted to announce this milestone for me…For you who play instruments…What are some of the songs/music that have been your Nemesis? And is there any songs/music you’d still like to be able to play? Also for anyone out there…Do you have a challenge similar to this in any other areas of life? I’d love to hear from you! 😀
