Facetious and Capricious

For some reason these two words, facetious and capricious, have come to me about our society today.

Facetious defined is; treating serious issues with deliberately inappropriate humor; flippant.

Some synonyms for capricious are fickle, inconstant, changeable, unstable, erratic, irregular, inconsistent, fitful, temperamental, impulsive, wild, ungovernable, unpredictable and faddish.
