Blindman Trail Marathon Training โ€“ Week 8/12 โ€“ Day 5โ€ฆ6 Miles (9.66Km)โ€ฆ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ

Hi all. Well at least it wasnโ€™t the weather that crippled me todayโ€ฆIt was the other obstacles on the trail! As iโ€™m typing this the shin of my left leg is still stinging, after i got forced off the trail by a wall (about 4 ladies) simply wouldnโ€™t move, so i veered off the trail right into a thorn bush! I knew it was a thorn bush of some kind when i continued to walk as the flesh was ripped off my shin as though a zombie had hold of it. The pain continued for the rest of my walk (about 4 miles)โ€ฆAnd when i got home my lovely wife Sarah instantly put some Germolene (โ€˜Germo-screamโ€™ as i call it) so itโ€™s still hurting now. ๐Ÿ˜จ

It couldโ€™ve been worse thoughโ€ฆAs just before my shin ripper a dogโ€ฆ

Human obstacles are often the hardest to overcome, to deal with. Congratulations for not letting their annoying blockage keep you from finishing well.

Hi. Thanks for the encouragement! Yes i have at least 1 incident a day with the human obstacles on the trail, but not like the ones today, lol! I hope there are not many days like this one before my trail marathon in only 44 days! ๐Ÿ˜จ
