My Thoughts 💭 

I have had a real impression on my heart to focus on the pollution that goes into my body through the filter called my face.

Travelling into London on the train I felt a real conviction to listen to what God was trying to tell me in that moment. As I was stood up and squashed into the carrage, I could just make out a few people intently reading books, magazines and newspapers and I thought about their brains as the most advanced computer on the planet and how they were programming it with the computer language from the stories they were reading. My thought process continued and as wondered how that code would affect their behaviour when they left the train to meet people,

Reprogramming….

On my iMac (desktop computer) there is an app called Terminal, if you type in a simple piece of code it can change the way the iMac responds, reacts and behaves for the rest of its life, or until you remove that piece of coding.

Billions of pounds (maybe more) are spent trying to protect and secure ourselves when using a computer, smart phone, tablet etc, yet we fail to protect ourselves from this creeping death that we choose to let into our immeasurably more advanced brains as we watch TV, listen to music, audiobooks, Read magazines, listen to gossip etc we’re failing to empty our own trash and also stop more from seeping in and reprogramming our brains and hearts!

So…how is your programming doing? Are you using “wholesome” or “Worldly” code?

Are you aware of the code you use and how it affects your life and the people around you?

  1. You are an incredible writer! You use the right words and are able to express what you want so easily. These are two of my favorite verses, although I’m sure most Christians say that 🙂 great words to go with them, very creative and really makes you think about everything differently. Have you ever thought about writing professionally?

    • Amanda, that was a great joke you finished your comment with! lol. No i havn’t had the slightest thought about writing professionally as i havn’t a clue what i’m doing and i get criticised constantly for my bad spelling or getting the tenses wrong. 😀 When God gives me something to write about i always seem to link it with the only things i know, which is computers, gadgets, games etc., and i always get straight to the point, maybe sometimes too quickly but i am learning as i go! Thanks so much for your lovely comments that always make me smile and give the encouragement to carry on! I’m so blessed to have you here. 😀

  2. This hits a real hot button for me. When I was a youth group leader, this is the one area I really tried to impress upon the students. Garbage in, garbage out. The things we put in directly effect how we live our lives out for Christ. Thank you for sharing this passion with me! Keep blogging!

      • You did a great job of expressing it. I am just too literal sometimes. Some think I am harsh, and I believe I am, but I am so zealous for the LORD, that my enthusiasm gets the best of me!

        • Me too, as i’m not a talker at all i really have to think about what i say and how i say it, but most of the time it still comes out wrong! lol
          I’m a work in progress as i read the Proverbs to try and not speak foolish but be slow to answer etc… 😀
