Saturday Stroll, a Storm, and a Spot of Heather!

Hi Friends.

Happy Saturday, everyone! Sarah and I decided to take a little stroll into Epsom town today before the weather decided to throw a complete tantrum! With heavy rain and strong winds starting as I write this, we’re rather pleased we got out in time. We pulled on our raincoats, put our hoods up, and headed into town while it was still safe to enjoy a little fresh air. There’s something lovely about a simple walk together, even when the British weather is doing its best to keep everyone indoors!

While Sarah wandered around the market looking at flowers, I stopped to take a photograph of Epsom’s clock tower. Of course, Sarah told me to stand still and wait while she had a good look around. So there I was, behaving myself like a good dog! 😂 Apparently, standing still or sitting down is the best way to ensure I’m not causing any mischief. I’m not admitting to anything, mind you! 🤣 Let’s just say Sarah knows me rather well by now.

Bright green fan-like palm fronds frame the arrangement on the sides, while delicate blue-purple bellflowers blossom at the bottom amidst green foliage.

And here’s Sarah’s lovely new winter heather! She spotted it at the market and decided it was coming home with us, ready to brighten up the flower box by our front door. Isn’t it pretty? It’s just the sort of little touch that makes a house feel welcoming, and Sarah wanted you all to see her latest purchase. Our home, which we’ve affectionately nicknamed Tranquility Lane, is looking a little brighter already!

We’re safely back home now, just in time as the wind gets stronger and the rain lashes against the windows! I reckon we timed our little adventure perfectly. It’s often the simplest things that make the best memories: a walk together, a few laughs, a photograph, and Sarah finding something pretty to brighten up our home. These are the everyday blessings I treasure most, sharing life’s little adventures with the woman I love (even when she has to tell me to stand still and behave myself!). Wishing you all a lovely, cosy Saturday evening. Stay safe, keep warm, and don’t forget to count your blessings.

P.S. The British Invasion Continues! The Blindman Strikes Again! 🎸

Below the map, a "Top Songs" table lists the track "Jess the Demon Hunter (Snack attack mode)" with 3 plays and 1 average daily listener over the last 7 days.

While Sarah and I enjoyed our Saturday stroll in Epsom, my music was playing across the pond! Jess the Demon Hunter (Snack Attack Mode) was my very first musical creation, written for my niece Jess’s birthday, so I’m genuinely amazed it’s being played at all, let alone picking up 3 plays in Orlando, Florida, this week, bringing its US total to 84 plays! 😂

Watch out, America! The Blindman Invasion is underway! 🤣

Let’s walk in Faith together.
