Do We Understand Life?

We have gone from people walking around naked to a world laced with culture and tradition

We have so many fashions, rites, festivals andĀ delicacies; what culture
We are a people of intelligence, wisdom andĀ enlightenment; we are civilised
We have amazing technology, medicine andĀ scientific discovery; how advanced we are

But what actually means anything; what is important?

What about life; things that give life and things that save life; ratherĀ than the things which simply makeĀ this placeĀ a bit more ā€˜interesting’

What am I saying?

THIS:

There is so much that we could do that would save so many lives

But we don’t manage to do it – and people keeping on suffering and dying

There are so many things that we don’t need to do, that don’t really help anyone at a fundamental level of life and death

But that is what most of us spend our lives doing

Most people observe the deep need for change in our world; change that would mean seemingly countless yet avoidable difficulties and tragedies might be avoided.
