Steve, thanks for this post. We’ve shifted our worship schedule at our church so that children are in worship for the entire service, which I think is a very good thing. But there are times when I think about what I’m preaching from this angle — are there things I shouldn’t say with children in the sanctuary? Sometimes it’s just a matter of word choice. But some things do seem too heavy for children.
