Β Buenos dΓas (Good Morning) π Β
The βBlind Sightseersβ have arrived in Minorca! I love the way weβve had 3 different languages in 3 days..Italian, French and now Spanish! π Β
Today was a beach break on one of the south coast beaches. Letβs hope itβs a relaxing one but you never know, lol!Β
On the dock…
After another lovely breakfast π₯ we headed out onto the dock to get the coach.Β

The beach…
This beach was much easier to find (unlike the one in Corfu) and Sarah instantly walked across the sand and into the sea, yay! π Β Β

Β Sarah then came back and found a place to put our towels, sit and put our bagsβ¦Then walked straight back into the sea! π Β

Β Although it wasnβt really a hot sunny day and it was very windy and cloudy, i still was boiling and had to go for a cooling off. π Β

Β We had a lovely time although sand blasted and totally covered in sand. it was a lovely place and it was good for me and Sarah to chill out for a while. π Β Β

Β Back at the dock…
After a quick refresh on the ship we were sand free and ready to explore. The main street ran parallel to the ship so we couldnβt get lost. We found a few shops and in one of them Sarah found a lovely necklace, yay! We continued walking up the street until we reached the end. βOoooohhh palm treesβ i said. Β

Β The cafe and the storm…
Β The black clouds were moving in quickly so when we found a lovely cafe i said βAs these tables are 3 deep and completely covered, if we sit in the middle the rain will never get us hereβ. We sat down and waited for the waitress.
And then…
Iβve never witnessed rain like this ever. It gave no warning and came down (sideways) very hard, very heavy and very fast! Even though we were sat a long way from the end of the shelter we were getting soaked. The waitress ran out collected something off the tables and ran in. I thought βSheβs done this before, lol! Sarah grabbed me and we flew inside.Β
The whole point of coming to a cafe in a Spanish countryβ¦Was we wanted to ask for ‘Patatas Fritasβ. Sarahβs dad and brothers spent a lot of time in Spain and can speak fluent Spanish, so when the waitress came over to ask us what we wantedβ¦Both Sarah and i said ‘Patatas Fritasβ. The waitress looked at us and said βSo you want chips!β βΉοΈ Although we didnβt get the Spanish languageβ¦The chips didnβt disappoint.Β
We could still hear the thunderous rain storm outside and we had to get back to the ship soonβ¦I think we were going to get soakedβ¦.We did! π Β
On the ship…Β
Wow what a beautiful sunset… Β

Β Yay we finally have a photo of my lovely wife Sarah in the evening restaurant and sheβs wearing her new necklace!

Β Now we know why this ship is called the Thomson Majesty..Such a beautiful piano set in a lovely part of the ship with my lovely wife Sarah (meaning Princess).

Β The Blind Sightseers have had another lovely day exploring yet another islandβ¦And although itβs the end of this ‘Treasures of the Mediterraneanβ Cruise itβs not they end of our monumental tour during this lockdown.Β
So letβs jump from this Thomson Majesty ship onto the Marella Discovery. Thomson were also bought out by Tui and now the ships are called Marella instead of Thomson.
I wonder where this ship is heading??
To be continued…Β

β§ Sarah & i at St Kitts β§Β
From stunning, breathtaking views, horse riding in paradise, dancing with dolphins, River paddle boat trip, various island bus tours, 4×4 volcano ride, cable cars,Β OHβ¦. and Sarah’s medical emergancy in the middle of the Atlantic ocean, itβs been an unbelievable few weeks on our cruise holiday to the Caribbean, Azores & Spain.Β
Sarah & i arrived back on Saturday, but after going to our local A&E on Monday, we both have been suffering with respiratory tract infections for a couple of weeks now.
So please be patient with me as iβm trying to import all of my photos and sort them out ready for posting here for a daily tour of our trip. But the computer is burning my eyes at the moment so is slowing me down a little, also the headaches, coughing and loss of energy is not helping, but that wonβt stop me! lol.Β
Iβm not sure how long each post will take, and still not sure whever to post on Rebus Photography & iChristian or just on Rebus Photographyβ¦I donβt want to duplicate, but i know i have different friends on each blog, so also donβt want anyone to miss the posts. WhatΒ do you think??
Please join Sarah & i on this incredible journey:
