Hi all, i wondered if you’d join me in thanking this remarkable young dude Vini! 💪🏼 😀
Vini has been my Gym Buddy for 7 months now and as a blind man trying to train….I can’t tell you how much having Vini around to encourage, enable, spot and push me to not quit helps me on this fantastic new healthy journey. 😀
What’s even more remarkable……Vini came to the UK 6 years ago when he was 11, and he couldn’t even say hello to me, as he didn’t speak any english at all! Now he can speak better english than me, as i have a thick Derby accent, lol. 😀
He’s now nearly a year into his A levels and can speak 3 languages so far as well as many other giftings.
I could go on and on, lol…..But i just wanted to thank him for his dedication to training, and for not minding having an old blind guy following him around. He just keeps on giving and helping me to achieve my goals, even though he’s got lots on with school etc…..And for everything he does and the excellent young man he’s becoming…..I’d like to give him a huge thanks! I feel so proud that he calls me “Uncle”. 💪🏼 😀

Your testimony blew me away. Any plans the enemy had for you got shut down by the grace and truth of Our Lord And Savior Jesus Christ! So thankful you are alive today and passionately in love with Christ! I know about losing hope. I came close one day to giving up my fight against food addiction but God carried me through.

Steve this is awesome! Thank you Vini for giving freely without thought of receiving; for in your giving you have also received—as each conversation and each training session pours into both of you some things that are priceless—friendship, a familial bond, positive role modeling, accountability partners, and so much more. I showed this comment to Vini last night in the gym, and he loved it…..We both couldn’t quite believe that you posted it. It is so encouraging, and filled with loving wisdom. It showed us things we didn’t fully realise was happening as we struggle through this challenging…..Yet so rewarding journey. 💪🏼 😀
Steve that’s what makes your friendship with Vini so special—it’s been authentic, as things have simply evolved—not forced upon, not contrived, not even planned. Neither of you intended to meet the other or to even become gym partners and friends. But look what has happened! It’s so awesome.
What a wonderful story. Thank you sincerely Vini for being the wonderful person of assistance and encouragement. How much folks like you contribute to make this world stop and think. This is what really ‘matters’. You, too Steve, never stop training and challenging with your thoughts and feelings. You are appreciated!…an an inspiration to others as well.
