Tuner Tuesday: iWalk 3.38 Miles πŸ‘¨πŸ»β€πŸ¦―

Today’s pond photo…

Hi Fitblitzers…

Yay…The sunshine (nasty glare) had gone away, and just left my best conditions with even some drizzle to cool me down along the trail. πŸ˜€ There were no dramas today, just the usual couple of swerves around stray dog walkers, but other than that it was nice and enjoyable out there without having my brains scorched!

You may have guessed that I’ve found the ‘Mono’ filter on my photos today. I thought on the days it drizzles, rains or chucks it down I will use this filter for a change! πŸ˜€

More trees…

Things are going really well at the moment. The weight is coming off, the nutrition is way cleaner and delicious and my walking is moving forward each week. I have the 2 lap walk tomorrow as in the last week of each month I need to do one lap more than the previous month, so I can keep getting stronger each month ready for the BIG 50K! 😨

Anyway, i’d better stop rambling on (pun intended) and check that i’m in tune as it’s ‘Tuner Tuesday’. I’ve added ‘Blood Pressure’ to the ‘B’ string as I now take my blood pressure every week.

EADGBE…πŸ’ͺ🏼

  • E –Β Endurance: Tortoise NOT Hare, lol!
  • A –Β Activity Rings: I use apple watch so i need to close my daily rings.
  • D –Β Deficit: Make sure i’m in a healthy calorie deficit each day until healthy weight.
  • G –Β Goals: Focus on my many lifetime goals.
  • B –Β BodyΒ & BP: Check blood pressure & listen to my body and look after it (it’s not young anymore, lol).
  • E – Edification: Feeding my mind and soul fuels me to serve, encourage, and inspire others.

Motivational Quote:..πŸ’ͺ🏼

When your goals are clear…It’s easier to take the first steps toward it.

Let’s ‘FitBlitz’ 2025 Together! πŸ’ͺ🏼

Germany was an eye-opening experience. For me, it was amazing seeing different cultures of believers with a united heart, worshiping the same God, and doing it differently. It was exhausting but encouraging.

Wow that sounds like such a blessed experience, and it sounds like you liked it too although it must have been exhausting! πŸ™ πŸ˜€

I love listening to brothers and sisters in Christ tell their stories, and witnessing how they praise and worship in so many different styles is fascinating. I bet you’re glad to be back home, is it hot over there? It’s just cooling down here now so my walks are a lot more enjoyable. πŸ˜€

It was pleasant there, but it’s in the 100s here in Florida. Plus humidity. Uncomfortable to say the least. It was a little taste of heaven, however, to hear songs sung in different languages, knowing the words that were familiar to me.

Awww Dayle it sounds fantastic to hear all of those voices singing out to God! 😲

Wow that’s hot! I’m not sure I’d be out walking in that heat, unless I had an air con unit strapped to my back!

Glad to hear that the glare has gone. Right now, here in the States, we are in the midst of yet(!) another heat wave. We broke all sorts of records today – it got to 100 degrees Fahrenheit (38 Celsius).

Stay cool and keep walking my friend!

      Hi Nancy!

Wow 38˚C is very hot! I hope you have air con and it’s turned up? Yes it’s overcast over here so my walks are much more enjoyable.

The walking is going well so far, and I’m getting used to going out most days, and the distance is slowly getting longer as my legs remember what to do, lol!

There’s something incredibly beautiful about the monochrome pictures that makes every tree and bush look lacy and lush. I’m thrilled with your progress–you’re an inspiration to all of us who want to (need to!) be more active!

Hey Dayle! Thanks so much for your feedback on the monochrome photos. I have no idea what they look like or if they are any good…So hearing your comments really helped me. I’ll definitely use the filter again each time it rains here, which should be quite often, lol! 🀣

Well it’s the fact that I’ve been inactive for about a year, that’s let me put on 50 pounds! 😨 BUT it’s coming off nicely (healthy planned deficit), and having a really clear goal (silly BIG challenge) that I have firmly in my sights, that’s driven my new found determination to smash this 50K in a day challenge which is the biggest one I’ve sone so far, and I have 7 calendar months to get stronger and way more stamina 😲

How is Germany? Are you still there? I hope you’ve recovered with some rest after that manic 24 hours! πŸ€”
