Yay…10 Years Of iChristian! 🎉

Hi iChristian Family!

WordPress kindly notified me of this 10 years of blogging award badge, so obviously i’m celebrating this achievement! 💪🏼 😀

But seriously…I only have you guys to thank! I can’t believe the warm welcomes, the encouragements, the support, the prayers, the laughs and the cries…I could list much more but i wanted to keep this short, lol! 🤣 Oh and never mind the fat that you’re still here reading, liking, and commenting…I can’t believe you’re not bored yet, lol?! The journey i share with you guys is ineffable and i wouldn’t change it for the world…Well except to meet you guys face to face! 💪🏼 😀

The more i think about the last 10 years, the more i think about writing…So i’ll just stop here and say a huge THANK YOU and God bless all of you!! 🙏 😀

After a lovely sunny day I returned home and was stunned to find that I’ve been nominated for the Sunshine award by Kristy at Family, friends and everything in between. So i’d like to say a huge thanks to her and also urge you to go and check out her amazing blog.

  1. I prefer to play acoustic guitar, I think it suits my laid back personality.
  2. My favourite acoustic guitars are made by Taylor of which I have 5.
  3. I played the drums on my wedding day during the service with two bands, the worship band and also a blues band I used to play in. 😀
  4. I passed my driving test first time when I was 17, obviously I don’t drive now I am blind. Although that may change soon with the Google car! lol
  5. I think i’m an Appoholic! I have quite a few iPhone, iPad & iMac apps (research purposes :D) see accessapple
  6. I have 1 brother & 2 sisters
  7. I was born and raised in Derby, the Midlands, UK

The Reality Blog Award!

Reality Blog AwardWow, I am honoured to announce that I have been nominated for the Reality Blog Award by Pam, please check out her fantastic blog at animalpalooza. I am deeply touched to be thought of for having an inspiring blog. This is exciting for me as this is my first award. 😀

Those who are blessed enough to receive this award, are asked to post the picture of the award on their blog and link back to the person who nominated you.

There are 5 questions that go along with this award so here goes…

  1. If you could change one thing, what would you change? I would like to change peoples mindset on thinking that the church is a building Christians go to on a sunday morning!
  2. If you have just one book with you on a deserted island, what would it be? It would have to be the Bible, but as I am blind I have the audio version on my iPhone, so if its ok I would also like to take a solar powered battery pack so I can continue listening.
  3. What is one thing that really scares you? I would probably have to say spiders and creepy crawlies. As I can’t see them I always imagine them about five times the size, so I panic even more.
  4. What is one dream you have not completed, and do you think you will be able to complete it? To be able to sing so that I can play and record some of the songs I have written. This is a huge task but I hope one day I will be able to hold a tune!
  5. If you could meet any TV or movie star who is still alive, who would it be? It would have to be Alice Cooper. I would love to talk with him about this amazing Christian journey
