Darkness may throw a shadow over my outer vision, but there is no cloud that can keep the sunlight of hope from a trustful soul. One of the earliest resolves that I formed in my young and joyous heart was to leave all care to yesterday, and to believe that the morrow would bring its own peculiar joy. permalink

After yesterdays post “Giving Light Upon The Earth”, i thought i’d have one more go at taking shots of the moon. I wasn’t getting any different shots from yesterday, until shortly after midnight. The moon was slowly disappearing behind the clouds, and with my last shot i managed to get this one! 🙂
I really like the feel of this image, as to me, it expresses quite a spooky feeling, simular to how i felt sat in front of my window in the pitch dark! 🙂

A tortured soul, wriggling with sin,
So much horror to know where to begin,
The black hands of Satan hold me from within.
Lord of my heart, Father to my soul,
Stop the firey darts, and take control,
Give me a new start and fill this black hole.
You hear my call, from the shadow of the beast,
No giants too tall, no longer a feast,
Your blood saves all; even the least.
The eyes of my heart are now open,
Reading the words you had spoken,
Your light shines brighter through the broken.
