✞ Music “Love Me” by JJ Heller

Love Me

He cries in the corner where nobody sees
He’s the kid with the story no one would believe
He prays every night, “Dear God won’t you please
Could you send someone here who will love me?”

Who will love me for me
Not for what I have done or what I will become
Who will love me for me
‘Cause nobody has shown me what love
What love really means

Her office is shrinking a little each day
She’s the woman whose husband has run away
She’ll go to the gym after working today
Maybe if she was thinner
Then he would’ve stayed
And she says:

Who will love me for me?
Not for what I have done or what I will become
Who will love me for me?
‘Cause nobody has shown me what love, what love really means

He’s waiting to die as he sits all alone
He’s a man in a cell who regrets what he’s done
He utters a cry from the depths of his soul
“Oh Lord, forgive me, I want to go home”

Then he heard a voice somewhere deep inside
And it said
“I know you’ve murdered and I know you’ve lied
I have watched you suffer all of your life
And now that you’ll listen, I’ll tell you that I…”

I will love you for you
Not for what you have done or what you will become
I will love you for you
I will give you the love
The love that you never knew.

🌹Beautiful Rosa🌹

Sarah & i spent the last couple of days up in Doncaster for Sarah’s beautiful Grans (Rosa) funeral which took place yesterday. Sarah’s Dad shared loving memories, photos and even school reports with us over a lovely home-cooked meal. I feel truly blessed to have known such an intelligent, bright & loving person, and we will all remember her fantastic sense of humour! 😀 X x x

Galatians 2:20 The Voice

I have been crucified with the Anointed One—I am no longer alive—but the Anointed is living in me; and whatever life I have left in this failing body I live by the faithfulness of God’s Son, the One who loves me and gave His body on the cross for me.

1 Corinthians 12:31 The Voice

Pursue the greater gifts, and let me tell you of a more excellent way—love.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

It’s a loving God who birthed creation and now pursues a broken people in the most spectacular way. That same love must guide believers.

Love is patient; love is kind. Love isn’t envious, doesn’t boast, brag, or strut about. There’s no arrogance in love; it’s never rude, crude, or indecent—it’s not self-absorbed. Love isn’t easily upset. Love doesn’t tally wrongs or celebrate injustice; but truth—yes, truth—is love’s delight! Love puts up with anything and everything that comes along; it trusts, hopes, and endures no matter what.

Matthew 10:38 The Voice

If you refuse to take up your cross and follow Me on the narrow road, then you are not worthy of Me.

Put On Love!

Colossians 3:12-14 The Voice

Since you are all set apart by God, made holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with a holy way of life: compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Put up with one another. Forgive. Pardon any offenses against one another, as the Lord has pardoned you, because you should act in kind. But above all these, put on love! Love is the perfect tie to bind these together.

✞ Music “Your Love Is Moving” by Christy Nockels

“Your Love Is Moving”

The hem of Your robe is where our healing lies
The wounds in Your hands are where our life resides
Your love is moving, moving among us

We’re desperate to see the beauty of Your face
We’re longing to know the wonders of Your grace
Your love is moving, moving among us

So we reach, we reach our hands to You
Our God, You are here and Your mercies are new
We fall, we fall in worship to You
Our God, You are here and in Your power You move

The faith in our hearts is how we welcome You
The joy in our lives is Your love breaking through
Your love is moving, moving among us

Thank You Lord
Thank You Lord

So we reach, we reach our hands to You
Our God, You are here and Your mercies are new
And We fall, we fall in worship to You
Our God, You are here and in Your power You move

Yes we reach, we reach our hands to You
Our God, You are here and Your mercies are new
And We fall, we fall in worship to You
Our God, You are here and in Your power You move

Your love is moving, moving among us
Inviting us in
Your love is moving, moving among us
Thank You Lord
Your love is moving, moving among us
Inviting us in

Into the glorious
Into the glorious

Ephesians 5:25 Easy-to-Read Version

Husbands, love your wives the same as Christ loved the church and gave his life for it.

My Thoughts 💭

This is one of my favourite Bible verses that i try desperately  each day to live up to. As soon as i first read this verse it convicted me straight away and i knew i wanted to be a husband like that!

🙏 Prayer

Spirit, thanks for being a constant guiding presence in my life. Give me the faith to take practical and radical action to keep in step with You, so that You can love my spouse through me in a way that will sustain a fun, loving & trusting relationship. Amen.

Your Love Is Blind

Loving Saviour, i don’t deserve the smallest of your mercies, and yet you continue to love, sustain and bless me in immeasurable ways! i thank you  for accepting me, just the way I am. Your love is blind to all of my faults, and ugly sides. I pray that You would work through me to love others compassionately, seeing through the surface. Amen.

Loving Perfectly

Quote Logo

Every single person in our lives will disappoint us at some level. Some days they’ll be busy when we need them to be still; other days they’ll be self-centered when we need them to concentrate on us. Sometimes they’ll bruise us with hard words aimed right for the soft places in our soul. They won’t meet all our emotional needs. They can’t; they have too many needs of their own. They’re sinners just like us. Only our Creator can love us perfectly, the way He created us to be loved. His love is the only thing that can define us without destroying us.
