Bruce with his fluffy toy Eeyore

🐾 Hi, I’m “Bruce THE Boxer”, I’ll be your ‘Boxercise’ instructor and I’ll help you paw away your COVID-19 lockdown blues!

Don’t be fooled by my cute baby face…I’m here to teach you recruits discipline, security detail, accurate attack methods, basic knowledge of weird humans, grooming and best of all…Boxercise drills.

Now we’ve got the small stuff out of the way, click the next day button at the end of this post for your first drill! 😀

Description…

I may be more than a little biased as Boxer dogs are my fave, but sharing a fun daily photo of “Bruce THE Boxer” will not only put a smile on my face(and help keep his memory alive) for me…But also put a smile on your face(or even LOL) and this may help a little to help paw away some of the COVID-19 lockdown blues! 😀

Please be patient with me as i’m not sure which will happen first…The lockdown ends or i run out of Bruce photos, lol.  😀

🐾 Next Day ➡

iReminisce: Born To Run!

I stumbled across an old comment yesterday which i never even knew was there! 😦 Asking if Bruce(Bruce THE Boxer) was aloud to run free on Old Hunstanton Beach? I said yes of course as it took me back to this photo of Bruce running at his favourite place! Then all the memories started flooding back of all our happy times on this beach and staying at the Old Hunstanton Lighthouse for many years(coming soon). 🙂

IReminisce: The Retreat, Acle, Norfolk

Wow!!! I can’t believe it’s been 9 years since Me, Sarah & Bruce THE Boxer stayed in this log cabin for a week in Acle, Norfolk.

I remember Sarah had bought me the Baby Taylor acoustic guitar a few months earlier for Christmas. I was so happy i couldn’t put it down…..So it came with us! 🙂

Me playing my baby Taylor on the porch on the log cabin

It was a lovely relaxing holiday. I played guitar on the porch while Sarah sat in the hot tub for most of the week. Bruce enjoyed long walks and pretending to be a guard dog! 🤣

Weekly Photo Challenge: Evanescent

Wow, another “Photo Challenge” where i could post thousands of photos! 🤣

Here’s a few “Evanescent” moments of my(& Sarah’s) travels.

St Kitts Church

On a severely rocky train journey through “St Kitts”, i managed somehow to take this photo of one of my fave church buildings! ~ Read about our fantastic journey here!

In Flight

Now a little about this bird…..🤣 Taken from my older post “In Flight”

“This photo brings back memories of patience for me. This is the longest i’d taken getting one shot. I spent 3 days going down to the local lake and sat patiently on a bench taking about 150 shots per day until finally got this one. I learnt that when you can’t see what’s in your viewfinder, don’t take photos of birds! lol” 😀

Sarah London Landscape

Sarah had just a few seconds to take this photo whilst doing a 2 day course at the “Institute of Legacy Management” building. She wanted to show me a cityscape of London as she wouldn’t get this chance again! 🙂

And of course i can’t do many photo challenges without a photo(or photos) of “Bruce THE Boxer”. Our lovely Boxer dog which we still miss loads! But i felt this period in time(14th July 2000 – 3rd Dec 2011) felt like it only lasted a short time and would suit this challenge. 🙂

This daily prompt instantly reminded me of how alert Bruce used to be. If you tried to sneak anywhere, as soon as you look up, he is stood watching you! 😀

Sarah also sneaks photos of me and my camera too!

Joy cannot be pursued. It comes from within. It is a state of being. It does not depend on circumstances, but triumphs over circumstances. It produces a gentleness of spirit and a magnetic personality.

 Description

I am not sure how old Bruce is here (around 6 months old)  but he was still a cute puppy! 😀

Sorry for the poor quality but i just had to share as i don’t have any other photos of Bruce as a puppy. I didn’t have any camera’s back than, not even on a mobile phone! This image was captured using my Dad’s camera.
