Jesus, how much do you love me?
A Walk of Witness – The Cross Walk
ย

ย
Quote 4 2day ๐ฌย
“The Cross is a picture of violence, yet the key to peace, a picture of suffering, yet the key to healing, a picture of death, yet the key to life. –ย David Watson
Epsom town centre was blessed with the incredibly moving reenactment of the events of Good Friday. It was really emotional to be apart of it. The actors were fantastic and it really drove home the message of how Jesus suffered and died for our sins.
A big thanks to my Christian brother Ben for taking my camera and getting some great shots of the costumes and the cross for me as I was in the crowd and couldn’t see anything! ๐

Depression
ย
Whilst writing “My Testimony” I found this song hiding in my hard drive.
ย
Depression
Written by Steve Rebus
ย
ย
As I wake up I slowly realise,
That I face another day with darkened eyes,
As it hits me I have to refrain,
From the thoughts wishing me dead again!
ย
Pure isolation, I dream of escape,
My hopes and ambitions Iโve had to forsake,
Panic, despair, my hand grips the knife,
I pray for the strength to end this sad life!!
ย
(chorus)
Depression,
Comes like the darkest night,
Depression,
No glimmer of hope, no sign of light.
ย
I feel the torment build deep inside,
Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide,
It has to happen now, I need a release,
I hope suicide will finally bring me peace!
ย
(chorus)
ย
As I look back with love in my heart,
My Chains are gone, i have a new start,
The Lord is my refuge, my strength, my home,
The darkness has gone, Iโm no longer alone!
ย

๐ Verse of Hope
John 14:1-4
โLet not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Fatherโs house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.โ

Not afraid to die
ย
This song came to me as I was with Sarah at another Eric Bibb concert, we were sat very high up in the eaves of Cadogan Hall and I felt a sudden sense of danger. I pictured the whole place collapsing and I was trapped under all of the seats etc.
ย
When we got home I picked up my acoustic guitar and this song (lyrics & chords) just came straight out. I havn’t edited it since and this happened around 2005.ย

When youโve got the Lord in your heartโฆ..donโt be afraid to die

I am not sure if this is an outpouring of my love for Sarah and how I would die for her, or if its trying to show how much inner peace I feel now I follow Jesus, maybe its both?!

Quote from website:ย We are a Church of England (Anglican) parish church in a beautiful area of Epsom, Surrey. We are part of theย Guildford Diocese,ย which covers much of Surrey and part of North-east Hampshire. We also have responsibility forย Christ Church on the Wells, our church plant, which meets on a Sunday at the community centre on the Wells estate (the part of Epsom where Epsom Salts once came from!)
We are also part of the Epsom Group Ministry, a confederation of Anglican churches in Epsom, which includes the churches ofย St Martin with St Stephenon the Downs, and St Barnabas. Along with the Group Ministry, we also have a very good relationship withย Epsom Methodist Church, in the centre of Epsom.

When we struggle with Guilt, worry, fear, people or any problem at all, the Bible says that we should take it to Jesus and he will free you from your chains and give rest to your soul.
So why, when we know the correct password to unlock all of these problems and issues isย “Jesus”. Why do we constantly insist on entering the wrong one!
Are you screaming at the issues for not accepting your password??

๐ another Verse 4 2day!ย
Matthew 11:28ย (NLT)
Then Jesus said, โCome to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
“Dear Father,
I need you now because I am full of stress and anxiety. Reading your Word brings comfort, as I ask you to come and take my heavy burdens. I take each burden, one by one, and lay them at your feet. Please carry them for me so that I don’t have to. Replace them with your humble and gentle yoke so that I will find rest for my soul today. I receive your gift of peace of mind and heart. I know that you, Lord, will keep me safe. I am not afraid because you are always with me,ย Amen”

I love when people tell me they have been praying for me, especially when I know they mean it and actually have been. I want my wife to feel that, and see how much I truly love her, cherish her and want herโฆ
