For this week’s challenge, share a photo which describes what Spring means to you.
Everytime i hear the word ‘Spring’ i instantly think of this photo of Bruce jumping around on the beach. He jumps like he has springs on his paws!
For Sarah’s birthday (Friday 11th) i booked a surprise Spa Suite at Thistle hotel in Brighton that had views overlooking the pier. We had a lovely few days.

If you’re wondering why i’ve been so quiet for the last few days…..…Sarah & i have been visiting family & friends in my hometown of Derby, Derbyshire,
It was amazing to catch up with as many as i could as i don’t get to see them very often, and it was sad not too catch up with my brother Paul. Below are some great memories of my trip. Hope you enjoy! 🙂

For this weeks “Weekly Photo Challenge: Inside” i chose the photo i took when i was stood ‘inside’ the hot air balloon that Sarah & i were about to ride in. What a fantastic day! 🙂

For this week’s: “Weekly Photo Challenge” i thought of this photo straight away for the challenge of perspective. It’s a photo of Bruce (the giant guard dog) standing in front of The Old Lighthouse in Old Hunstanton, Norfolk. I was using my fisheye lens and just put my camera on the grass and hit the button! 🙂

My Thoughts 💭
I thought i would use “Castle Rising Castle” for this weeks Weekly Photo Challenge: Abandoned.
Description
While on holiday at the lighthouse Me, Sarah & Brother Ben took a day trip to Castle Rising castle. I gave Ben my big Nikon as Sarah & I were doing an audio described tour provided by the ticket office for £1. It was a fun tour as the audio description was dramatised! I still got to get my compact camera out and shoot the shots above! 😀

Thought i’d use my photo of Abbie taking a photo of big Ben. I’m on the outside looking in, and we’re both outside too! 🙂

“IN A NEW POST CREATED for THIS CHALLENGE, SHARE A PHOTO THAT SHOWS US A GLIMPSE OF THE INFINITE“

⇧ Sarah & I looking out over the seemingly infinite sea ⇧
My Thoughts 💭
This challenge was hard for me, but as both me and Sarah are both registered blind, it doesn’t take much distance for things to seem infinite!!!

My Thoughts 💭
Yipppeee my 1st passport arrived in the post today!!! 😀
It may be a shock to some of you that i’m 38 and never had a passport, but after my interview on Saturday morning at the passport office in Victoria, London to prove face to face that I am me, it finally arrived today.
So, I was wondering if all of you lovely friends could suggest some great places to see and experience?! I’ll finally be able to post some photos from places other than Norfolk! lol.
Me, Sarah, Ben (The Dynamic Force) and Rosie always talk (jokingly but seriously) about a “WordPress World Tour” where we would travel around and maybe meet some of the amazing people who we share our everyday journeys with on here! Is this a crazy dream?! 😀

To celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary Sarah & I visited Hunstanton, Norfolk for a few days. We’ve stayed in the ‘Old Hunstanton Lighthouse‘ for our honeymoon and then each year for the next 5 anniversaries, but this year we didn’t have the time to stay for a week, so we stayed in a lovely guest house in the town instead. I didn’t take any cameras with me and only had my iPhone, but I had fun taking photos anyway! 😀

On our last evening we decided to have Sarah’s favourite doughnuts and watch the beautiful sunset from the sea front.

I decided with the image below, that I would combine my love of sunsets with Sarah’s love of doughnuts. It took a few attempts to get the sun in the hole, but I got it in the end! 🙂

⇧ Sarah watching her doughnut shine ⇧

When we arrived home after a 6 hour journey, we had an hour to get ready and go for our romantic meal at our favourite restaurant. Our friends who own and run Sicily restaurant made it extra special for us.

⇧ They first surprised us with a lovely card and present ⇧

⇧ Then amazing fillet steaks ⇧

⇧ And finally Strawberries & cream with coconut ice cream in a peach ⇧
Now i’m back at my computer with 771 emails, so i’m sure you’ll be hearing from me soon. I’m looking forward to reading your posts! 😀

Joy cannot be pursued. It comes from within. It is a state of being. It does not depend on circumstances, but triumphs over circumstances. It produces a gentleness of spirit and a magnetic personality.

Today’s Daily Prompt: “Photographers, artists, poets: show us MODERN”
I love the 21st century! As a blind person its never been more accessible. Technology has enabled blind and partially sighted people to interact and be less isolated.
In just the 13 years i’ve been registered blind technology and peoples awareness has improved dramatically, and i’m excited to be apart of whats coming next! 😀

My Thoughts 💭

A Christian church in the Church of England Diocese of Guildford. Part of Epsom Group Ministry and Churches Together in Epsom

Description
We spent a morning visiting the beautiful village of Shere walking around the Church building, blacksmiths & the few shops.
Shere is a village in the Guildford district of Surrey, England about 6 miles (9.7 km) east of Guildford and 4 miles (6.4 km) west of Dorking, bypassed by the A25. It is a small village with many traditional English features. It has a small central cluster of old village houses, shops including a blacksmith and trekking shop, tea house, art gallery, two pubs and a Norman-era church. Shere has a museum which opens most afternoons at weekends. The Tillingbourne stream runs through the centre of the village.
The church is Norman, most being 12th, 13th and 14th century, of ironstone rubble with sandstone buttresses, restored in 1895 by S. Weatherley. By the north chancel wall there is a 14th century quatrefoil window and squint – belonging to Anchorite Cell. There is 14th century glass in the east window and the chancel fittings were renewed in 1956 by Louis Osman…….read more….

Description
Photos taken during a walk around the beautiful epsom common.
Quote from website: We are a Church of England (Anglican) parish church in a beautiful area of Epsom, Surrey. We are part of the Guildford Diocese, which covers much of Surrey and part of North-east Hampshire. We also have responsibility for Christ Church on the Wells, our church plant, which meets on a Sunday at the community centre on the Wells estate (the part of Epsom where Epsom Salts once came from!)
We are also part of the Epsom Group Ministry, a confederation of Anglican churches in Epsom, which includes the churches of St Martin with St Stephenon the Downs, and St Barnabas. Along with the Group Ministry, we also have a very good relationship with Epsom Methodist Church, in the centre of Epsom.
Our beautiful Victorian church (do have a look at the slide show or the photo gallery!) has been home for many years to a lively Christian community. We hope that, if you are able to visit us, you will find space here to discover more about God and the Christian faith, time to pray and reflect, and also the opportunity to make new friends.
