Welcome and receive [to your hearts] one another, then, even as Christ has welcomed and received you, for the glory of God.
Well itโs been an emotional (but rewarding) couple of weeks with a wedding sandwiched between 2 funerals. 1st was Sarahโs Grans funeral (seeย ๐นBeautiful Rosa๐น) then my sisters wedding (see My Sisters Wedding) and today we celebrated Sarahโs Spiritual guide & support Audrey Broderickโs life at a beautiful and moving memorial service. During the service Audrey had requested a poem to be read and i thought iโd share it with youโฆ.
You can shed tears that she is gone
or you can smile because she has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that sheโll come back
or you can open your eyes and see all sheโs left.Your heart can be empty because you canโt see her
or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday
or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember her and only that sheโs gone
or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.You can cry and close your mind,
be empty and turn your back
or you can do what sheโd want:
smile, open your eyes, love and go on.David Harkins, ยฉ 1981
After all of your lovely comments and encouragements (more than i could reply too) i thought i would keep you up to date with a second post.ย
My photography received a warm response and they have asked if i would like to be apart of another exhibition in Estonia 2015 (Yay!!) Also they would like me to do a video interview (maybe next month) trying to explain how i go about taking my photos etc.. This will be really interesting for me too as i really donโt speak much, i much prefer to listen, and i also donโt really know how i manage to get most of my shots! Lol! ๐
More Exhibition Dates:
The exhibition ART SENSES 2013, dedicated to blind and visually impaired people, starts in Ancona 4th April 2014, and then Tuscany, region in Italy, on October 26th in Massa Marittima, and it ended in Grosseto on December 3rd, with a conference on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities
For the final exhibition in Florence, Italy in December, iโll be sending them 6 mounted & framed images and weโll be actually going to visit the exhibition and meet the people etc at the museum. As you can imagine iโm really excited! ๐
Anyway iโll keep you up to date with anything else that may be of interest to you regarding my photography. Thanks again for all of your encouragements. Iโm so blessed to have such fantastic group of friends on here! ๐

Romans 7:15-25ย The Voice
15 Listen, I canโt explain my actions. Hereโs why: I am not able to do the things I want; and at the same time, I do the things I despise. 16 If I am doing the things I have already decided not to do, I am agreeing with the law regarding what is good. 17 But now I am no longer the one actingโIโve lost controlโsin has taken up residence in me and is wreaking havoc. 18 I know that in me, that is, in my fallen human nature, there is nothing good. I can will myself to do something good, but that does not help me carry it out. 19 I can determine that I am going to do good, but I donโt do it; instead, I end up living out the evil that I decided not to do. 20 If I end up doing the exact thing I pledged not to do, I am no longer doing it because sin has taken up residence in me.
21 Hereโs an important principle Iโve discovered: regardless of my desire to do the right thing, it is clear that evil is never far away. 22 For deep down I am in happy agreement with Godโs law; 23 but the rest of me does not concur. I see a very different principle at work in my bodily members, and it is at war with my mind; I have become a prisoner in this war to the rule of sin in my body. 24 I am absolutely miserable! Is there anyone who can free me from this body where sin and death reign so supremely? 25 I am thankful to God for the freedom that comes through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One! So on the one hand, I devotedly serve Godโs law with my mind; but on the other hand, with my flesh, I serve the principle of sin.

Blind Photographer – Steve Rebus {Worshipping through his art, his music, and his writings.}

Meet Steve Rebus. You can read on his website how he breaks the ice about who he is: Blind Photographer. ย But we’ve gotten to know Steve as so much more than that – although he is a fabulous photographer! He is a writer, a musician, and most importantly he is a follower of Christ. In every sense, he seeks to be like and love like Jesus. WHAT A POWERFUL testimony he has!
ย ย 7Cubed: Hi Steve. Tell us about your life, your music, and your photography.ย
Steve: Two Souls Entwineโฆ..ย

Iโve been married to Sarah for nearly six years now and Iโm really struggling to put how I feel into words! My heart overflows with love for her. She has encouraged, inspired and loved me and is the sunshine that warms me along my journey. ย
My love of musicโฆ.
Since being registered blind Iโve learned to play the drums and guitar. This is amazing in itself but being able to play alongside Sarah every Sunday to assist myself and others in worship is just mind blowing. I play in two churches โ drumming in the morning and playing guitar in the evening and I feel so blessed to be able to come before God and thank him with the gifts heโs given me. Gifts that give me great joy too!
Blind Photographer??ย
โYou donโt need sight to see, you need visionโย
โI strongly believe that Disability doesnโt have to mean inability or lack of creative talent!โย
I used to enjoy photography when I was sighted, taking and developing photos in my dadโs darkroom, When I lost most my sight 13 years ago I thought this would put a stop to my hobby, but I have learned that my camera can act as my eyes allowing me to see what my own eyes will not.ย I am proud of the fact that I have been able to produce photographs despite my visual impairmentโ and like to think that although I may have lost my useful sight I have not lost my vision and instinct for a good photograph. (see Blind Photographer).
7Cubed: In what ways has life changed for you and your relationship with God because of your blindness?ย
Steve: When I was fully sighted I never had a relationship with God, nor was ever taught about him. We didnโt go to church and he was never part of my life.ย In my early twenties I was really into body building, football, driving, and night clubbing. I judged people on looks alone; if they didnโt look fit, they were nothing! My fuel was pride and vanity.ย Since I have been blind and the eyes of my heart have been forced open by God’s amazing grace Iโve found my identity in Him, and as He is continually transforming me into the person He knew I could be. I simply just love people without any preconceptions of what the world thinks is beautiful.
7Cubed: Obviously, God blesses your music, your writing, and your photography! They are all wonderful. At what point in your life did you really understand that Christ wanted to work through your adverse situations?

Steve: I think it was when I wrote my testimony at the beginning of this year when God started to show me what he can do through me. I posted it onto iChristian and my blog seemed to explode with blessings. I realised that my little story can actually help connect, encourage, and inspire people on a few different levels, and I will share His good news for the rest of my life.ย
7Cubed: We’ve seen some cool pictures of you playing your guitar! Do you play any other instruments? When did you first learn how to play your instruments?ย
Steve: Yes, I also play the drums. I first started playing 13 years ago when a teacher at the college I reluctantly attended (as it was only a few months after Iโd lost my sight and I was in a real dark place) asked me, โSteve, is there anything you would like to learn?โ I said I would like to play the drums, so she found a local drum shop called โRattle & Drumโ that also had teaching rooms upstairs and thatโs where I started my lessons. Dave, my drum teacher, was fantastic and worked around my struggles, and playing the drums to my favourite songs quickly became my therapy and still helps to this day.ย
I didnโt start playing guitar until 2005 when I had met Sarah and had to sell my drum kit to be able to move into her flat. As Iโve been a Metal fan for most of my life, Iโve always played the air guitar, but never really tried to play a real one.ย Harry, my fantastic guitar teacher, recorded our lessons with my video camera so I could sit for hours with my guitar in front of my huge TV to try and figure out what finger went where. As I canโt see to read sheet music or guitar tabs, I have to play from memory.ย I now have quite a few beautiful guitars that I love playing, and Iโm truly blessed to be able to play my chords for the Lord on such amazing instruments.ย ย
7Cubed: You take some awesome photographs! What kind of camera do you use? Do you have any specialized equipment that assists you when taking these amazing photos?ย ย
Steve: I have bought 5 cameras over the 8 years of digital photography. I have 2 DSLR cameras. My main camera is a Nikon D2Xs and my second is a SONY Alpha a100. I also use a Canon Powershot SX40 HS which is a bridge camera, and my compact camera is a Samsung WB550. Oh and my iPhone!ย As you can imagine there is not much in the way of assistive technology for blind photographers as it’s not something that many would think of. The only piece of adapted tech is a 2x magnifier that is screwed onto the Nikon’s viewfinder, which doesnโt help me at all, but I canโt get it off! lolย Having said that, my iPhone is the only camera thatโs accessible for me. It speaks to me when it has focused, and when I take a portrait it will tell me where the face is on the screen and if its a big face or a small face so I can get the right distance. This feature is fantastic and also standard on the iPhone, and Iโd love to see this software on other cameras!ย ย
7Cubed: What advice and encouragement would you give to others who have been through a similar situation?ย
Steve: If there is someone reading this who is experiencing the creeping death called depression, then Iโd just like to give them hope. The hope that although you may feel that no one cares and that thereโs nothing to live for anymore, thereโs no pit too deep that God wonโt reach down and lift you out of. He wants a living relationship with you starting right now!ย He loves you no matter what youโve done, no matter where youโve been; He loves you completely and he wants to bless your life and bring you that peace inside that you’re craving for.ย
ย 7Cubed: How did you became a Believer and Follower of Jesus?ย
Steve: I hope you donโt mind but Iโve answered this question using the text from my iChristian blog.ย
Broken, Psalm 116:3 The cords of death entangled me, the anguish of the grave came over me; I was overcome by distress and sorrow.ย
Another day, another attempt! โฆ. Oct โ Nov 2000
ย I kneel down in the centre of my living room. Tears stain the blade I hold to my chest. โCome on Steve, donโt fail again! All you need to do is throw yourself forwards and thats it!โย Iโd been doing this every morning for the last couple of months and still I waited, willing myself to do it. Then nudgeโฆnudge.. my three month old Boxer dog โBruceโ pushed against my leg with his nose. His whimpering cries pierced my very soul. โHe relied on me for everything and I had no idea I would be relying on a furry angel to help me through this dark period in my life.โย
After three months of failed attempts I felt more useless than ever โฆ. I couldnโt even manage the task of killing myself. I realised I didnโt even have the strength to do this properly. I just didnโt know how I could get lower than this!!! – Iโd been registered blind at 25, after loosing my sight quite suddenly. in the same month my mum finally died after a 12 year debilitating and demoralizing struggle with progressive MS. Missing her added misery to my own struggle to come to terms with the isolation and insecurities of managing life with sight loss โ Iโd lost my job, my custom car, the ability to drive, my girlfriend and nearly all of my so called friends!ย
My answerโฆ.ย
To throw myself into binge drinking, womanising, dark depression, and raw anger. I felt that this was what I had to look forwards to for the rest of my life.ย
Then I met Sarahโฆโฆ July 2004ย
She wasnโt like the other girls Iโd met. Sarah too had suffered sight loss and depression because of her uncontrollable diabetes but no matter how bad things got for her, she always had comfort in someone called โJesusโ. Oh no I thought not a Christian! She suffered all of my taunts, jibes and nasty comments but worst of all my coldness and my inability to show love. I made it a personal challenge to show her that everyone will let you down and no one can be trusted or faithful! I felt that if I could make her hurt as much as I did then sheโd hate this Jesus and know that he wasnโt real!ย
Then HE came to visit MEโฆ.ย
Hope, Psalm 116:4 Then I called on the name of the Lord: โLord, save me!โย
Iโd seen a guitarist called Eric Bibb on the music show โLater with Jooles Hollandโ and called Sarah up to see if she had heard of him too. She hadnโt but as a lovely gift she booked tickets to go and see him in London. Iโd only ever been to Metal concerts before so i didnโt know what to expect.ย It was Eric Bibbโs โFriendsโ tour and when Eric started the song โNeeded Timeโ and sang the words.ย
โIโm down on my bended knees, Iโm on my knees, praying want you come back, come back here?
Even if you donโt stay long, oh my Jesus, If you donโt stay long, Iโm praying, Come back here.
Singing Right now is the needed time, I know you feel the needed time right now. Bless us!โย
This was the moment when I asked Jesus to save me saying โI canโt fight any more. Please help me!โ From that moment something happened inside me and I just felt an outpouring of my entire being. My heart seemed to clear itself of all the darkness, hatred and anger Iโd filled it with replacing this with pure love. I couldnโt stop my river of tears for the rest of the show.ย
February 2013 โ Now and into the futureโฆ.
ย Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what Godโs will is โ his good, pleasing and perfect will.ย
My eyes are filling with tears as I write this section. I just canโt believe Iโm sitting here typing this. If it was up to me than Iโd be dead. Iโd have missed Godโs amazing grace and a living relationship with Jesus along with the countless blessings I simply didnโt know existed! Heโs transformed me in so many ways and Iโm no longer held captive by drinking, swearing, anger, lack of compassion and self loathing, along with much much more. Iโm also getting a long way to overcoming my ever big struggle with over eating.
7Cubed: Steve, we agree with what you said “thereโs no pit too deep that God wonโt reach down and lift you out of.” Praise God for that Truth! Thank you for taking a moment to share your beautiful life with us and may God bless your work and vision throughout the mission He has laid on your heart!
Don’t miss Steve’sย beautiful photography onย his blog!ย

Be Loved! โฅ ๐ โฅ
Godโs love for us is truly something hard for us to comprehend. His love for us is like no other love we have or ever will experience. We have a hard time understanding His love for us because we donโt love the way He loves.
When it comes to love, our human ability to love is finite, limited and quite frankly pretty fickle and we have a tendency to view Godโs love like our own love. But they are vastly different. Our love is based on our feelings but Godโs love is based on His nature. His very nature is love.
Anyone who does not love does not know God, becauseย God is love.
He loved us even before we were born and we were created in His image. God doesnโt wait for us to be be โgood enoughโ for Him to love us; He loves usโฆ

His divine power has given us everything we need to experience life and to reflect Godโs true nature through the knowledge of the One who called us by His glory and virtue. Through these things, we have received Godโs great and valuable promises, so we might escape the corruption of worldly desires and share in the divine nature.
God took the first step to rescue us from this corrupt world. He has granted us His power, revealed to us true knowledge, and spoken to us great promises. He has done all this for a reason: that we might participate in His own nature and reflect His own life. But we are not passive observers of Godโs saving actions. We must receive His grace, grow in knowledge, and join Him in this work of redemption.

Romans 7:1-14ย The Voice
Grace is no license to sin. As creatures, we are made to serve our Creator. In the absence of truth, we will serve somebody or something. Itโs an essential part of our nature. Our only choice is this: whom will we serve? At one time, we all served sin and grew weak under its deadly power over us. Now, through Godโs grace, we have become servants of obedience that sets us right with God, each other, and ourselves. We must daily decide whose servant we are and offer Him our hands, our feet, our hearts, our eyes.
My brothers and sisters who are well versed in the law, donโt you realize that a person is subject to the law only as long as he is alive? 2 So, for example, a wife is obligated by the law to her husband until his death; if the husband dies, she is freed from the parts of the law that relate to her marriage. 3 If she is sleeping with another man while her husband is alive, she is rightly labeled an adulteress. But if her husband dies, she is free from the law and can marry another man. In such a case, she is not an adulteress.
4 My brothers and sisters, in the same way, you have died when it comes to the law because of your connection with the body of the Anointed One. His deathโand your death with Himโfrees you to belong to the One who was raised from the dead so we can bear fruit for God. 5 As we were living in the flesh, the law could not solve the problem of sin; it only awakened our lust for more and cultivated the fruit of death in our bodily members. 6 But now that we have died to those chains that imprisoned us, we have been released from the law to serve in a new Spirit-empowered life, not the old written code.
7 So what is the story? Is the law itself sin? Absolutely not! It is the exact opposite. I would never have known what sin is if it were not for the law. For example, I would not have known that desiring something that belongs to my neighbor is sin if the law had not said, โYou are not to covet.โ 8 Sin took advantage of the commandment to create a constant stream of greed and desire within me; I began to want everything. You see, apart from the law, sin lies dormant. 9 There was a time when I was living without the law, but the commandment came and changed everything: sin came to life, and I died. 10 This commandment was supposed to bring life; but in my experience, it brought death. 11 Sin took advantage of the commandment, tricked me, and exploited it in order to kill me. 12 So hear me out: the law is holy; and its commandments are holy, right, and good.
13 So did the good law bring about my death? Absolutely not! It was sin that killed me, not the law. Itโs the nature of sin to produce death through what is good and exploit the commandments to multiply sinโs vile effects. 14 This is what we know: the law comes from the spiritual realm. My problem is that I am of the fallen human realm, owned by sin, which tries to keep me in its service.

A profound comment to one of my posts, by sister in Christย Adjustedsails
ย Undead.ย Author Clay Morgan explores death and the supernatural, explaining how faith and the living dead intersect.
Zombies aren’t just around for Halloween anymore, with the genre finding huge success in Hollywood. AMC’s hit show,ย The Walking Dead, is just one of the many Zombie-focused stories out there today.
Recently, Morgan shared with CBN.comย about this phenomenon, what we can learn from these supernatural stories and how Jesus is the epitome of the “anti-zombie”.
What’s a Christian doing writing a book about zombies?
Clay Morgan:ย I wrote a book about zombies for much the same reason C.S. Lewis wrote a book likeย The Screwtape Lettersย about demonsโto find light in the darkness. Tales of the supernatural are ready-made for Christianity. Zombies are ridiculously popular and culturally relevant, so zombies are a great way to get someone’s attention. From there we can have a marvelous discussion about spiritual life and spiritual death.
I’m also genuinely interested in the topic and pop culture in general. Millions of people never go to church or learn about biblical faith. For them, entertainment may be the sole medium informing their beliefs of the supernatural. If someone walks out of a movie about zombies or vampires asking questions about life beyond the grave then that’s a great opportunity to have a meaningful conversation about eternal things.
Have you received any criticism for examining themes like horror and zombies?
CM:ย Nothing major yet, but I certainly expected some. I’m sure some people don’t want anything to do with zombies, even as a starting point for discussing biblical miracles, but anyone who reads the book will see that it’s about much more. The stories are fun, so there’s not much of a horror/zombie vibe for most readers.
Why are we fascinated by the living dead?
CM:ย In part I think we’re compelled by the world in which they live, a post-apocalyptic environment where humanity as we know it is over. There are no more bills to pay or jobs to pursue or social circles to navigate. There’s equality in the face of death.
As for the monsters, it’s hard to look away from such an uncompromising threat. And on a deeper level we recognize the meaning of an existence with no hope for redemption. Their totality is so threatening. One misstep and it’s over. And the victims in these stories often don’t just die; they are turned into evil monsters which is more terrifying than anything.
Why is being scared entertaining?
CM:ย For most people it’s exciting, an adrenaline rush. The key is that we aren’t in any real danger, so we pay a lot of money for the illusion of such things. Maybe some of us are just thrill seekers. I suspect that part of it is a desire to find out what our thresholds are. What I do know is that if a horror movie plot like a zombie outbreak really happened it would not be fun! The real thing would be so truly terrifying, but entertainment is a different thing.
What’s your favorite zombie film, and why?
CM:ย I think the first zombie movie that truly captivated me wasย 28 Days Laterย in which a man wakes from a coma after London has already been devastated by plague. In addition to the quality of the filmmaking and suspense the story makes you think about fate and the meaningful relationships in our lives. Most of all, you have to consider what humanity becomes in the face of ultimate depravity. After all, zombies are a visible representation of cursed creation.
If I have a clear favorite, it’s probablyย Zombielandย which balances humor with the fright of a world gone wrong. That one really allows you to see the empty stores and communities and consider what the world might look like during an apocalypse.
What spiritual lessons do zombie stories teach us?
CM:ย The biggest lesson might be that it’s possible to exist without truly being alive. A lot of us shamble through life, thoughtlessly going through the motions while feeling dead inside. That includes people in churches and youth groups. We may look like we’re alive to the people around us while masking the decay in our heart.
I used to punch in on Sundays and walk away largely unchanged. What are we living for? What is the meaning of our existence? Zombies aimlessly roam around looking for one more chance to gorge on an appetite of destruction, yet no matter how much they feed on what they desire they are always empty. If anybody has ever wondered what’s missing in life they can probably relate to that kind of emptiness. Fortunately, we don’t have to stay that way. God offers ultimate fulfillment, an abundant life.
A section of your book is titled, ‘Undead in the Bible’. Are you saying there are zombies in the Bible?
CM:ย That idea is really the heart of the book. Most of the chapters inย Undeadย describe the six individuals in the New Testament who were raised from the dead by God. Jesus performed three of these jaw-dropping miracles and became the fourth. Peter and Paul were also used to bring someone back from the dead.
Of course, these individuals weren’t zombies in the Hollywood sense. Like Lazarus, those folks were restored to full life. But the wordplay makes sense since culture is so fascinated with dead people coming back to life. I thought it was pretty cool to show how many times that type of thing happened in the Bible. The same God who brought people back from physical death in the first century is still able to bring us back from spiritual death today.
Inย Undead,ย you say we see ourselves in zombies. How’s that?
CM:ย The thing about zombies is that they look familiar in their t-shirts, jeans, curlers, and slippers. Other monstersโsuch as aliens, vampire, or werewolves for exampleโlook so different. We see ourselves in zombies, the worst possible version of our neighbors and ourselves. They hit close to home.
Metaphorically, some of us see frightening reflections of ourselves when we look in the mirror because we know ugly, personal truths.
A major theme of a lot of zombie films and stories is when the living become more monstrous than the zombies in their quest for survival. What is it about zombie movies that help us to examine the dark side of human nature?
CM:ย You’ve nailed it. Zombie fiction is always about the survivors and how they’ll interact. The title of that show The Walking Dead isn’t a reference to the zombies but to the people attempting to go on. These stories reduce everything to its base. Money and social status don’t help anyone. In such dire circumstances the truth about human nature is revealed, and we know it isn’t pretty. The ancient prophet Jeremiah said that our hearts are deceitful above all else and even desperately wicked. Any good zombie story shows how wicked some people can be.
“Jesus is the anti-zombie”. Please, do explain.
CM:ย Zombies are the complete opposite to Jesus. They come back from the dead to take lives. Jesus came back from the dead to give life to all. Zombies are damaged, decaying, and terrifying. Jesus came back resurrected in perfection, a beautiful sight to all who believe. Zombies transform people from life to death. Jesus offers transformation from death to life. That’s why I call him the anti-zombie.
Undeadย also gets into vampires. How does that folklore play into this?
CM:ย Monster stories often subvert God’s story. For example, vampires receive immortality at the expense of their soul. They take blood to have life which is completely the opposite of Jesus who gave blood so that others might have life. Blood is a central theme throughout both scripture and vampire lore.
The other thing about vampires is that they are the ultimate in selfishness which is something I used to really struggle with. To use another metaphor, spiritual vampires are takers and they can be found anywhere, churches included. We need to make sure we’re not acting like vampires to the people around us by losing sight of what it means to be a servant like Jesus.
Beyond talk of zombies and vampires, this book speaks to deeper issues. What is the message?
CM:ย The ultimate message ofย Undeadย is that God is able to breathe life into each one of us. He wants to transform us, and it will be the most awesome miracle we’ve ever experienced. Spiritual death isn’t just about ignoring God. If we’re honest, some of us may be in churches every week but know that something big is missing from our lives. Like Lazarus, it’s possible to be a friend of Jesus for a while before experiencing a whole new level of his miraculous, life-giving power in a new way.
Who do you know that needs to hear about the transforming power of God? Maybe they’re not even interested in going to church but they just might findย Undeadย engaging enough to discover the mind-blowing force of God’s love.

I prayed for faith and thought it would strike me like lightening. But faith did not come. One day I read, โNow faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.โ I had closed my Bible and prayed for faith. I now began to study my Bible and faith has been growing ever since.

Romans 5:2ย Amplified Bible
Through Him also we have [our] access (entrance, introduction) by faith into this grace (state of Godโs favor) in which we [firmly and safely] stand. And let us rejoice and exult in our hope of experiencing and enjoying the glory of God.
We regret losing a purse full of money, but a good thought which has come to us, which weโve heard or read, a thought which we should have remembered and applied to our life, which could have improved the world- we lose this thought and promptly forget about it, and we do not regret it, though it is more precious than millions.
Leo Tolstoy
Edify your soul with Biblical wisdom from a loving sister.
โI am Lady Wisdom, and I live next to Sanity;ย Knowledge and Discretion live just down the street.
The Fear-of-Godย means hating Evil, whose ways I hate with a passionโpride and arrogance and crooked talk.
Good counsel and common sense are my characteristics;ย I am both Insight and the Virtue to live it out.
With my help, leaders rule,ย and lawmakers legislate fairly;
With my help, governors govern,ย along with all in legitimate authority.
I love those who love me,ย those who look for me find me.
Wealth and Glory accompany meโalso substantial Honor and a Good Name.
My benefits are worth more than a big salary, even aย veryย big salary;ย the returns on me exceed any imaginable bonus.
You can find me on Righteous Roadโthatโs where I walkโat the intersection of Justice Avenue,

“Wasteland”
I am the first one in line to die
When the cavalry comes
Yeah it feels like the great divide
has already come
Yeah im wastin’ my way through days
losing youth along the way
Oh if God, is on my side
Oh if God, is on my side
Oh if God, is on my side
Who could be against me?
There was a greatness I felt for a while
But somehow it changed
Some kind of blindness I used to protect me
From all of my stains
Yeah I wish this was vertigo
It just feels like I’m fallin’ slow
Oh if God, is on my side
Then who can be against me?
Yeah in this wasteland
Where I’m livin’
There is a crack in the door filled with light
And it’s all that
I need to get by
Yeah in this wasteland
Where I’m livin’
There is a crack in the door filled with light
And it’s all that
I need to shine
All of these people I meet
It seems like they’re fine
Yeah in some ways I hope that they’re not
And their hearts are like mine
Yeah its wrong when it seems like work
To belong, All I feel is hurt
Oh if God, is on my side
Yeah if God, is on my side
Oh if God, is on my side
Who could be against me?
Yeah in this wasteland
Where I’m livin’
There is a crack in the door filled with light
And its all that
I need to get by
Yeah in this wasteland
Where I’m livin’
There is a crack in the door filled with light
And it’s all that
I need to shine
Oh if God, is on my side
Yeah if God, is on my side
Oh if God, is on my side
Then who could be against me?
1 Peter 1:3-5ย Amplified Bible
Praised (honored, blessed) be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah)! By His boundless mercy we have been born again to an ever-living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
[Born anew] into an inheritance which is beyond the reach of change and decay [imperishable], unsullied and unfading, reserved in heaven for you,
Who are being guarded (garrisoned) by Godโs power through [your] faith [till you fully inherit that [a]final] salvation that is ready to be revealed [for you] in the last time.
Matthew 28:6-7ย Amplified Bible
He is not here; He has risen, as He said [He would do]. Come, see the place where He lay.
Then go quickly and tell His disciples, He has risen from the dead, and behold, He is going before you to Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.
Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life.ย It turns what we have into enough, and more.ย It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity.ย It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.ย Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.
